In collaboration with Ujima People’s Party Maryland we will be celebrating Black women revolutionaries, organizers and activists next month at a free event!
Join us for music, food, community and discussions surrounding issues facing black organizers today and ways we can come together to strengthen community ties and stand together in the face of ever-growing adversities facing our communities.

Reservoir Hill Tenants Union Meeting
A meeting for all tenants of the Esplanade, Temple Gardens, and Emersonian Apartments to discuss the current rash of evictions in their buildings and ongoing concerns with management.
Fight Blight : Delta Community Center
Fight Blight Bmore is an economic, environmental, and social justice initiative led by the community and informed by data to address the issue of blight. Fight Blight Bmore has three main functions:
To inform individuals about blight and its impact
To create a mobile application to identify, report, and analyze blight data
To support the development of real property that is visioned, led, implemented and owned by the community’s existing residents.
Fight Blight supports Baltimoreans who are facing displacement from their homes through The SOS Fund, and are holding a series of Housing Stabilization Clinics throughout Spring 2023 to further that mission. This clinic will provide residents with a one-stop shop for resolving various housing issues facing the residents of Baltimore City. BRU is joining Fight Blight for these and will be handing out Know Your Rights materials and organizing information. BRU Organizers will have a table set up for the duration of the event where tenants can ask questions about their individual situations or get more information on any organizing they are interested in.
